LAP0562 kra BCI Tmakerspace 0063 Screen

COI engaged in this project with the goal of redesigning the 2nd level of BCIT’s downtown campus, creating a dynamic space for students, faculty, and industry professionals to collaborate, experiment, and participate in industry events.

This makerspace is located in the heart of Vancouver’s business and tech core. COI worked hand in hand with Kirsten Reite Architecture to deliver BCIT’s vision of supporting the community with a space fit with innovative technology such as smart glasses, virtual reality, media production and design tools, video editing and recording equipment, and 3D printing. The furniture provided by COI helped create a home to hold these devices and host the curious minds who seek to explore new possibilities with them.
