Shining the Light on a Modern Rehabilitation Centre
Sunny Hill Health Centre provides specialized developmental assessments and rehabilitation services to BC children and youth and their families. COI was chosen to partner with Sunny Hill after we completed the new Teck Acute children’s hospital in Vancouver (TACC). The project team had just completed a very successful partnership with COI and wanted the continuity and the same level of furnishings.
The children who come to Sunny Hill range in age from birth to 19 years and often have complex medical, physical and developmental needs. COI spent 3 years working with the clinical leaders at Sunny Hill to develop interior furnishings that would suit the special needs of the children and the staff.
The furnishings used throughout the Hospital include:
- Herman Miller Canvas workstations
- Motia Sit-to-Stand desk
- Sayl task chairs
- Everywhere tables
- Plex Lounge seating
- Tu filing and storage
- Chadwick seating.
Our vendor partners include Arcadia, Fluid Concepts, Ideon, Keebee, KI, Nemschoff, SitOnIt Seating, Six Inch, Spec Furniture, Stance, and Studiocraft.
